To mark the first annniversary of our inaugural gig, Party Fears Three are pleased to announce that we’ll be back at The Citrus Club in Edinburgh on Friday 12th February 2010 with another full length headlining show! As usual, expect a wide range of some great electronic based classic eighties tracks together with our special light and video show and – most important of all – loads of dry ice! Not wanting to rest on our laurels, we’ve been hard at work on a whole host of new tracks and whilst some of the old favourites will no doubt make a welcome re-appearance, we are definitely aiming to make this very much a new show. So if you enjoyed the gig in August, please do try and get along in February as we plan to make this one even bigger and better!
And to help us in this, we’re especially pleased to annouce we have a fantastic support lined up in the shape of Glasgow’s Analog Angel. If you follow the electronic scene you may well have already come across these guys who have been creating a stir on the internet with some fantastic tracks, very much in the vein of classic Depece Mode. With a new album – Dischord – hot off the presses, they are definitely worth checking out.
Tickets are available now priced £7.00 if bought in advance from the venue, Ripping Records and Tickets Scotland (Edinburgh branch). We are also going to be offering online tickets sales here on the site in the next few days so keep an eye on the site if this is something you’d be interested in. Advance tickets may be subject to booking fees. Admission on the night will be £10, so please do make sure you take advantage of the advance booking discount if you plan to come along.
As usual, ticket price also gains you entry to Planet Earth, Edinburgh’s long running and popular retro club night which follows the gig and runs until 3.00AM (normal admission price for Planet Earth is £6.00). Doors for the gig itself open at 7.00PM with all bands finishing by 10.30PM.
Don’t forget, we’ve also got our support slot with Bad Manners at The Picture House fast approaching on 30th December. Out of necessity, it will be a shorter set but we do have a special one-off surprise track planned for that night – shall we say, in keeping with the vibe of the other two bands playing that night - so if you want to find out what that is, there’s only one way to find out!
Thanks again to all of you who have supported us so far. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon!
